The Stockings Were Hung

I definitely needed a little break from Halloween. So I decided to make a Christmas layout instead. I used the Simply Charmed cartridge. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. And the paper is from the DCWV new paper stack.
I hung my family's stockings and was sad none of my cartridges had a fireplace. :( But the page still worked out. All the faces are stamped from different Peachy Keen Face stamps.
My inspiration for this page was the Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge which was banners. I tried to make a banner of stockings. Hope you enjoy.

Soccer 2010

Emma at My Creative Time posted her Throwback Thursday Challenge. The challenge was a "Sports" theme and use Sports Mania cartridge if you had it. So that's what I did. I just got back pictures of baseball fanatic son's soccer pictures. He plays for the Green Giants. Their colors are a dark green and neon green. Phew they are bright. I cut the I ♥ Soccer title and corner soccer ball from Sports Mania. Hope you enjoy

Feeding the Cows

Bitten By the Bug 2 has a challenge this week to use the barn from Old West cartridge. Or if you don't have that cartridge any barn. I used the barn from Create a Critter. I also cut the cow and cloud from that cartridge as well.
Here is a close up of my barn. Plan and simple, but cute.

Our Little Pumpkins

Today we went to the pumpkin patch. But before going I was taking pictures of our three kids. It got me to thinking about our three little pumpkins. I then thought ooh that will be a great page for the Cooking with Cricut blog challenge. The challenge was a project with your favorite pumpkin on it. Well my favorite pumpkins are my kids.
For the lettering I used the carousel cartridge. My layer was not cutting out how I wanted so I decided to just add orange stickles to add some color to the letters. I cut the pumpkins from the Simply Charmed cartridge. I tamped their faces with stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps. I wanted to make the pumpkins a little different, so I cut each one a different color to represent my kids. Purple for my baby girl, Blue for my Baseball Fanatic, and Pink for my Independent Girly Girl.
This is the picture of my "PUMPKINS" that I am going to put on the page. I just have not printed it yet.
Here is a close up of my pumpkins. I used Just Baby Face Assortment, Simple Sallie Face Assortments, and Everyday Face Assortments. Hope you enjoy. :)

Composition Book

My baseball fanatic has been writing in his composition book everyday as I asked. So his sister has been getting jealous and wanting to write (or scribble) in his. So I bought her her own. But no that wasn't good enough. She still wanted his. So I decided to cover them.
She loved her book. Phew!
He did too and of course had to act silly for the picture.

Families are Forever

So this was my best friends first layout that I made her put together completely by herself. I gave her the sketch of where everything was going. But she had to piece everything together. I had to hold my baby girl so I was no help at all. I think she did really good. You can tell her scallop circle is a little off so she didn't want me to post it but I said too bad. I think she did great.
The title and tree were cut from Just Because Cards.
She pop dotted the tree for more dimension.

On the dress the layers are a glittery white paper from DCWV as well. I then just added some bling. Hope you enjoy.

Welcome Alexie Roze

My independent girly girl has claimed the color pink as I think I have said before. So she has decided her baby sister can have the color purple. So I figured I do scrap most of her pages with pink to make her happy so I would do Alexie's in purple. I haven't printed any pictures yet but here is a page for her. The title is from Simply Charmed. I cut the stats from New Arrival cartridge. Then I added a journal block.
Here is the picture they take in the hospital. I got them in the mail today.
The baby in a carriage is from Simply Charmed. I stamped her face with Just Baby Faces assortment stamps from Peachy Keen stamps. The bow was from my stash. Enjoy :)

The two background papers are from the Paper Studio stack Fairytale Princess. I got it from Hobby Lobby. If you have not seen this paper it so super cute.
The castle is cut from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. I cannot believe how big my baby girl is already. Wow how time flies...atleast I have scrapbooking to cherish all the memories.

1 Scary Costume LO

This year my baseball fanatic wants to be something SCARY for halloween. He is thinking a wherewolf or something along those lines. You know the costumes with the ugly masks (the ones that scare his sister when he tries them on in the store). This might actually be the real reason behind it too. He is soo into messing with his sister.
I used the Mini Monsters cartridge for the word scary. The 1 and word costume was cut from Mickey Mouse Font cartridge. I added a couple stickers from my stash as well.

Bitten By the Bug 2 had a challenge to use the hand cut from the Graphically Speaking cartridge. I wanted it to look more haloweenie so I cut it out in a green and added a spider to the hand as well. The creepy sticker was added to the wrist. The tree is cut from Mini Monsters cartridge adn then I hung candy bags on the branches with extra stickers of a witch and ghost as some trick or treaters.
The background spider paper is from the target $1 section.
Hope you enjoy!

Pumpkin Card

Well with a new baby plus my 5 year old and 2 year old running around, I have realized I have NO time to scrapbook. :( I feel like I am itching to get in my scrapbook room. So finally today I was able to during nap time for for daughter and my son playing next door. I strapped up my baby girl in those baby holder things on my chest and a scrapping away we went.
I was looking at Creations with Christina's World Card Making Day challenges and decided to do:
Challenge #8 -

Alexie Roze is here

Just wanted to share that our daughter Alexie Roze was born on Wednesday September 29th. She arrived at 7:10 am weighing 7 lbs 4 oz. 19 inches long.

Here is a picture of my 3 kids. Daniel is loving being a big brother again. All he wants to do is hold her. Isabella was quite sure about her at first and then decided Alexie was ok. Now she wants to hold her all the time too.
The loves of my life. My husband and our 3 kids.

Ready to go home from the hospital
