Kitty Cat Birthday

Today is my beatiful daughter Isabella 3rd birthday. Time is flying right on by. She asked for a kitty cat birthday. So that is what the princess got. :) I made her this card from me and my husband. The kitten is cut from Sugar and Spice cartridge. I used my I rock to give her a collar. And I put a wobble on the kitten so she wobbles back and forth.
This is my daughter in her birthday tutu that I made for her. One of the happiest 3 year old's that day!. We went and got her hair trimmed and done for her birthday. She was so excited. she said "MOM , I'm getting my hair done. Yup I am a big girl." Yes she is.
Here is Bella at the shop after her hair was braided. She LOVED it.
And last but not least the cake for her birthday. My good friend's husband makes cake and this is what he came up with. We loved it. And more importantly so did the birthday girl. When she saw it she screamed and said It's my birthday. Then she was downstairs by herself singing happy birthday. I said who are you singing happy birthday to? She said me mom Because my cake is here and its my birthday! hehe I just love little kids.

Hope you all have a wonderful day. I am off to put my kids to bed and get a very tired 3 year old in bed after she decided a nap was not for her today. :)

Card Creations & More by C Challenge #4

Here we are for another awesome challenge over at Card Creations & More by C.
Today is a fun fun fun challenge....make it SPARKLE!!! How fun is that right?

So today I made a picture frame for my niece who takes ballet. I did not have a picture of my niece so I just put a picture of my daughter running around just so you get the feel of the frame. I used the dollar frames from Michael's and painted it purple first with some acrylic pain. Then I used my Shall We Dance cartridge for the cuts. And of course I added some stickles. Hope you enjoy.

I added purple stickles to the title.

NOw go see the rest of the design team for their wonderful projects and last but not least join in on the challenge.

Baby Boy LO

Yay How exciting! Today is design team day for 40:31 Creations. I am just so loving all of Lauren's
stamps. I Used stamps from her New Baby stamp set.

These are pictures of my little man. I cannot believe he is going to be 6 years old in just over a month. Where does the time go? It slips away right from under us. And this is one of the reasons I love to scrapbook. I make something I can look back on years from now and while making the page I get to reminisce on the moment. My baby boy was only 6 weeks old here.
The rocking horse is cut from B is for Boy cartridge. And of course all the great stamps are from 40:31 Creations!

You should have gotten here from Denise

I made a scene of my kids jumping on the trampoline. I used the Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge and Serenade cartridge. Of course I had to use my Peachy Keen stamps too. I I-rocked my puppy's collar. For the grass I used my Martha Stewart grass border punch and I did 3 layers. The sun's face was stamped with Peachy Keen's Happy Lashes set. And my puppy was Animal Faces.

My kids are jumping on the trampoline from Everyday Paper dolls. Yup they got a tan from that hot ol sun here in sunny San Diego hehe. These kids have not spent one day off of the trampoline since they got it for Christmas. It was the best present Santa ever brought. ;)
Hope you enjoy. I will add my pictures to the layout as soon as they are printed.

Winter Wishes

Today over at Craft Us Crazy is another challenge. We had such an awesome turnout for our first challenge. The theme this week is Winter Theme. So get working on your projects and come join in the fun.

This was one of the hardest themes for me to come up with a project since I live in sunny California and it doesn't really feel like winter around here. I used Jolly Holidays cartridge for my cuts. The border punch is a Martha Stewart Punch.
I stamped the little girl's face with a Peachy Keen Happy Lashes face stamp. I then used my I-rock for her earrings and I added a snowflake button I found at Joanns to give her a little extra fun to her headband. Hope you enjoy.
SUPPLIES USED:
Peachy Keen stamps
Jolly Holidays cricut cartridge

Card Creations & More by C Challenge #3

Today marks challenge # 3 over at Card Creations & More by C. The challenge is to create a project using the colors black, white, and one other color.
I chose to use black, white, and red. My dad is a total golfer. He plays golf every weekend and even plays during the week when he doesn't work. So I made this layout for him. I used the Sports Mania cartridge for both cuts. The golf balls I made using circle punches then running them through my cuttlebug. A very simple layout but I love it. Enjoy. Now head over to Card Creations & More and play along with us. Lots of fun. And the rest of the DT team has some great inspiration.

Supplies Used:
Sports Mania cricut cartridge

Sister Layout

Well Amanda and Melissa started a new challenge on their blog called Scrappy Saturday with the Bug Challenge . It is to make a scrapbook page. The theme this time is Anything Goes. So off to work I went. I made a layout of my girls on the swings. Before my youngest daughter was born I was so worried how my 2 year old daughter would handle a new baby. So when we had her and my 2 year old took her in with open arms I was ecstatic! So of course I had to take a million and one pictures of them.
All the cuts were from Locker Talk cartridge except the letters I come from Making the Grade. The paper is all from The Paper Studio - Fairytale Princess paper stack. The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

SUPPLIES USED:
Making the Grade cricut cartridge
Locker Talk cricut cartridge

Stylish Blog Awards

I received this stylish blogger award from two awesome crafters. Thank you to Libby at Beach Creations. She is soo talented and her work is amazing. The second award I received from Pat at Pat's Scraps. Her cards are so great and you have to see how beautiful her Sex and the City LO turned out. So cute.

So, here's how this works.  When you accept the award, you must:
1. Thank and link back to the person who gave you the award.
2. Share 8 things about yourself.
3. Pay it forward to 8 bloggers that you have recently discovered.
4. Contact those bloggers and tell them about their award.

8 Things about Me:
1. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and we have 3 entertaining children ages 5, 2, & 4   months.
2. I witness real life miracles pretty much every day. Yup. I work full time nights as a Labor & Delivery nurse. So I get to see babies be born all the time. And yes at times I do still tear up.
3. Since high school I used to print quotes and other things and cut out things in magazines and make books with pictures of me and my husband (boyfriend at the time). I still have them and the kids LOVE to look through them and see how little we were.
4. When I watch videos of scrapbooking. My 5 year old son always comments and asks if I am watching people that are actually GOOD at scrapbooking so I can get good. ( :( aww does that mean I am not good.)
5. I am one of the shyest people you will ever meet. So shy that people I don't know have to come up and talk to me first (except my patients) and they always perceive me as mean when they first meet me since I don't speak to them at first.
6. I cannot pick a favorite color for the life of me. I LOVE the color Pink and purple and blue. hehe
7. I am ADDICTED to paper. I have paper everywhere. Paper stacks galore. And I still feel the need to buy more.
8. I have pictures of myself when I was little and the kids always think it is my 2 year old Isabella. My son Daniel looks like a replica of his dad. Now we are wondering who my youngest daughter Alexie will look like. hmmm...

Now for my 8 that I nominate:
